JAPAN TOKYO- 2016

Hi Dearies,

Finally i am going to talk about my Japan trip.

Basically my trip plan were Tokyo--> Kyoto--> Osaka-->Fukuoka

I finally managed to bring my family to Japan for the very first time. Initially I don't really like Japan but i kinda changed my mind after years.

Japan stuffs are ready good, I love Daiso, their cosmetics, skincare and IT/electronics items.

So I met with my sister and we each flew to Tokyo through different airlines.

My sister- Scoot
Parents- China Eastern airline
Me-ANA

DAY 1

I am the lucky one because i traveled in 7 days and i will need to go back work :(

We arrived around 2pm and waited a while for parents because they flight delayed a bit...

Later we checked in the airbnb hotel around 6pm, its bit dark outside and we heading to our dinner after settling down..

Dinner: Korean BBQ

My dad saw the beef promotion and can't wait to dine in!

Its quite cheap to have korean bbq in Japan, i think its less than SGD 40 for 4 pax. Their service is really good!

Later the night I did a bit shopping and rest for the next day!

Day 2

We visited Sensoji (浅草寺, Sensōji, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa.

It is a beautiful temple!

My sister engaged a tour guide volunteer and she can speak English. We are excited and we walked around but to be honest if you are not comfortable to visit tourist area with stranger better don't do it.
My experience with the guide is bad. She don't help us take photos and don't introduce much of the attractions :( and keep ask us some weird questions about our country. And we need to pay for her transport and meal without enjoying at all. Maybe she is the peculiar one.

Sorry she is inside most of the photo * sigh

I am taking the photos most of the time, and she quite enjoy in most of our photos which i dont know why.

There are so many stalls selling food at Asakusa :) I didn't take much photos because i was busy eating

Many people getting the smoke towards them as they believe its good luck?

My lovely parents <3 p="">

I bought J a protection charm- against natural disasters and fire etc. so cute right?

Next stop: 博多拉麵競技場Odaiba Ramen Stadium

Vending machine to make payment

Tips: there are 5 shops inside the Ramen Stadium, if you want to try 6 noodles you will have to queue 6 times because the queue are super long.

So better do some research before starting to queue. And after getting your ticket, you need to queue to dine. I spent at least 2 hours there :(

After that, as usual shopping time!!

Customize chocolate :)

 Cute dolls

Caricature/Cartoon drawing
not cheap :(

 Next stop: Fuji Television Station

This is the place i wanna come the most! TV Station leh, who will let you tour tv station right?

with SMAP!!!! AHAHA

Next stop: Meiji Jingu 明治神宮

Meiji Shrine (明治神宮, Meiji Jingū) is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken.

This is a long way to the shrine, i would suggest you put this in your first stop of the day else you will be like me, no energy to walk till the shrine.
But my sister keep encouraging me and i finally made it!

But not much people inside the shrine maybe they are closing around 6pm.

Dinner time: We headed to Shinjuku

I don't want to talk about my dinner. We went in a lousy japanese restaurant and order some japanese katsu curry set and the waiter is not polite and don't understand english. After we ordered, he started to talk to his colleague in Japanese seems he is laughing we don't know anything blah blah..
I feel he is super ignorant. And he shouldn't work in Service Line if he thinks he know the best. Go out the world and see for yourself, they are not only japanese in this world. JOKER!

The food sucks! Don't ever visit. It is just next to the crepe store. I don't think i take any photos.

Continue to walk walk see see and end our night :)
